Kagerow Rods - Kei 7'6" 3/2 4wt Penta Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Kagerow Rods "Kei" 7'6" 3/2 4wt bamboo rod made by Hideto Ishida. Nearly new condition, there is a small light spot at the top of the reel seat spacer, although the rod may have been delivered this way. 5-strip construction featuring flamed bamboo, full intermediate wraps, oxidized snake guides and carbide stripper. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight as a pin. Both female ferrules are fitted with plugs. The butt section has the model information and serial number (#499) scripted vertically. 5.5" grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with a burl reel seat with composite cork insert and dual slide bands. The only sign of use I see are two tiny marks on the back of the burl spacer where a reel was mounted. The labor intensive Urushi finish is in perfect condition. Weight is 3.63oz. On the medium side of medium fast, and slightly parabolic. A beautiful rod and very smooth caster. Sold in the original bag and leather clad tube.
