Jennings & Moran - 7' 2/2, 4-5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7' 2/2, 4-5wt bamboo rod made by Homer Jennings & Tom Moran. Excellent+ used condition. Medium tempered cane with matte finish. Dark snake guides and red agate stripper, wrapped in transparent caramel windings with dark accents. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight, full length & serialized (#845/7). Lightly swelled butt with bent loop hook keeper, hexagonal NS winding check and bright cap & ring reel seat over find wood spacer. 5.5" cigar grip is smooth with light soiling. Weight is 3.03oz. Medium fast action, a nice 7' dry fly rod. The partnership between these two well-known rod makers was brief, and only a few rods were produced under the "Jennings & Moran" name in the late 1970's/early 1980's. This one is sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube with the Jennings & Moran label affixed.
