Winston, R.L. - 8' 2/2 5wt (3 3/4oz) Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 5wt Winston bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Oven tempered cane with 3x3 nodes, bright guides and tan windings. Duronz ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight, full length & serialized (#1750). Tips are marked for ease of rotation. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6.5" grip (soiled but smooth) and down-locking aluminum reel seat over wood spacer. Scripted weight is 3 3/8oz but my scale reads 3.6oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, best with a DT5 line. A nice Tom Morgan-era rod, made shortly after the move to Twin Bridges. Sold in the original bag and tube with tan Winston decal affixed.
