For sale here is a rare 7'6" FET Browntone 2-piece / 2-tip bamboo rod. Very good original condition, except for a clear wrap above the stripping guide on the butt. The clear wrap is covering a node lift that can be seen through the invisible wrap (performed by Per Brandin). Medium tempered cane with Perfection stripper and reverse-twist snake guides. Browntone grade, the blued hardware remains quite dark with a few spots of wear to the ferrules and the reel seat components. All sections are straight and full length, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Elegant, swelled butt with FET signature wraps and nickel silver winding check with integrated keeper. All-cork grip and reel seat, lightly soiled and ridged. The butt cap is stamped "EF 547". Perfect with a DT4, the action is on the faster side of medium fast. An amazing light-line, dry fly taper from one of the legacy American rod makers. Sold in the original bag with intact hangtag (previous owners name and address is inked on the bag), and original brass capped tube with 85% label.
