Payne - Parabolic 7'6" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a rare Payne Parabolic 7'6" 2/2 5wt rod. Fully restored by Steve Blake, the rod is in excellent+ restored condition. Medium toned cane with oxidized guides and hardware. Chestnut silk windings with gold tipping and purple accents. All sections are straight and full length, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Strap & ring hook keeper, nickel silver winding check and skeleton cork grip & reel seat. Pocketed butt cap reads "Sold by Abercrombie & Fitch New York" and Payne in cartouche on the reverse. The rarest of the Payne Parabolics, this 7'6" has a medium parabolic action and is perfect with a DT5. The restoration work is exemplary with fresh cork, perfect varnish, and dark bluing. Sold in the original bag with intact hangtag and brass capped tube with blue & silver Payne label.
