For sale here is a Dennis Franke Glastech Rapier 8'6" 3pc 6wt fiberglass rod in excellent used condition. Built on an unsanded green blank with bright guides and Fuji stripping guides. Wraps are dark green, and the model info, serial number, maker's name and original owner's name are inked in dark script on the faint gold ferrule wraps. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly. 6.5" cork grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a down-locking aluminum reel seat over bright cork spacer. Weight is 3.56oz. Franke built the Rapier series rods with faster tips and a more medium fast dry fly action. This rod casts a DT6 beautifully with plenty of power reserves. Glastech rods don't come to market very often, and they never last long. This one packs into the original green rod sock and block aluminum tube with maker's label affixed.
