For sale here is a Pinky Gillum 9' 2/2 8wt salmon rod in excellent used condition. All original with medium toned cane, oxidized guides and brown wraps. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (I-969). Black & white signature wraps above the winding check, 7' cork grip (smooth & soiled), and up-locking reel seat over mahogany spacer. The screw collar retains the H.S. Gillum stamping and the butt cap removed to accept a 4.75" fighting butt. Weight is 7.16oz. The only condition note I have is a small varnish chip on one tip about 2" below the tip top. It appears to be surficial, although the next owner may way to address it. A stout 8wt, purpose built for salmon & steelhead. Sold in a replacement bag and leather clad tube. The fighting butt packs into its own separate cloth bag.
