For sale here is an Abel Super 8 fly reel in very good used condition. Set up LHW but converts easily. Jet black anodized finish, fully ported frame and spool. Strong cork drag and exposed palming rim for putting the brakes on large fish. Signs of light use, including a series of small dings on the palming rim (purely cosmetic). The Super 8 is a nice size for 7/8/9wt fishing. Official capacity is for a WF8 + 220yds of 20lb Dacron. 3.9" diameter with a spool width of 0.85". Weight is 10.44oz loaded with a floating 8wt line and backing. Sold in the original green Abel pouch.
