Winston, R.L. - 7'6" 3/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Winston 7'6" 3/2 4wt bamboo rod in mint condition. Serial #4087, made shortly after Glenn Brackett left the Winston shop. Featuring lightly tempered cane with oxidized snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent orange with oxblood accents. Sections are straight, full length and serialized. Overwrapped Duronz ferrules fit perfectly, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Strap & ring hook keeper with nickel silver winding check and 6.5" Western grip (clean & smooth). Up-locking reel seat over mortised lacewood spacer. The Winston logo is etched into the butt cap. Scripted weight is 2 7/8oz, but it weighs 4.05oz on my scale. Medium fast 4wt action, the rod appears unused. Sold in the original bag and tube with Winston decal.
