For sale here is a Tufts & Batson 7'9" 3/2 5wt bamboo rod. Excellent used condition, this rod recently returned from the T&B shop where it received fresh varnish, a replaced reel seat and new ferrule plugs. Gabe & Amelia did a fine job with the refresh and this rod is ready for service. Medium flamed bamboo, dark snake guides and red agate stripper. Wraps are black with gold tipping, and all sections are full length & straight. Serial number on the butt and tube cap is #1610. 6" grip is smooth with light soiling. Ferrules fit perfectly. Bright cap & ring reel with nickel silver checks and dark mortised wood spacer. Weight is 4.04oz. Medium fast action, it casts well at all fishing distances with a DT5. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
