Schroeder, D.G. - 7'9" 3/2 4wt Quad Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Don Schroeder 7'9" 3/2 4wt quad bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Flamed cane with spiral nodes, dark guides and transparent brown windings with chestnut tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and the females are fitted with knurled brass ferrule plugs. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#53411). Strap & ring hook keeper and squared composite winding check. 6" grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over walnut spacer. The butt cap retains the makers stamping. Weight is 4.05oz. Smooth, medium fast action. A progressive taper, I think most will prefer it with a WF4. Sold in the original bag and tube with the maker's label and aftermarket tube protector.
