Pezon et Michel - Parabolic Supreme Competition 8'1" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Pezon et Michel Parabolic Supreme Competition 8'1" 2/2 bamboo rod in excellent+ condition. Medium toned cane with hunter green windings and 3x3 nodes. Blued ferrules fit perfectly and are witness marked for ease of alignment. All sections are straight, full length & serialized. All the butt script is clear and crisp. U-shaped hook keeper stepped aluminum winding check, 7.9" cork grip is clean and smooth. Black aluminum screw-lock reel seat comes with 3 different options for a butt cap: button, screw or spear. Weight is 5.78oz. A strong parabolic rod, I suspect it will handle a DT6 line but it's best with a WF5, especially at competition distances. The wraps on one tip are just a shade lighter than the other, and the guide wraps are offset slightly. It's possible the second tip was made after the rod was delivered, but it's hard to say for sure. The hardware and the craftsmanship suggest it's all P&M. Sold in the original 2-compartment bag with provisions for the alternative butt cap options, and plastic rod tube.
