For sale here is Pezon et Michel Super Parabolic Fario Club 8'5" 2-piece / 2-tip, 5-6wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Medium tempered cane with oxidized guides wrapped in dark green windings and red tipping. Red, white, and blue accent wraps on the butt, and P&M signature. Staggered ferrule design, the extra length on the butt section is taken up by an extended bamboo ferrule plug. Blued ferrules fit perfectly and are witness marked for ease of alignment. All sections are straight and full length. 137g scripted and actual weight, and the butt is marked at 20" to keep anglers honest. 7.5" cork grip is smooth with moderate soiling and a small groove in the 3rd ring down from the winding check. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over wood spacer. Deep flexing parabolic action, it feels best with a DT or WF6. P&M was best known for their parabolic offerings, and the Fario Club was one of their most popular tapers. This one has a few guide wraps showing their age and some signs of honest use, but overall a fine and fishable example of the taper. Packed in the original bag and tube (no tube cap), and tan canvas tube protector. Made in France.
