For sale here is a very rare 6'3" 3wt Gary Howells rod in excellent condition. Medium toned cane, 3x3 nodes, bright guides and color preserved chestnut windings with gold/red accents. Overwrapped ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. #3918, made in 1972 for Classic Rods. Strap & ring hook keeper, all-cork grip & reel seat with aluminum slide band hardware. The cork shows just a hint of soiling, this rod has clearly seen very little use. Scripted and actual weight is 2oz. Medium, light line action, but not sluggish at all. A perfect 3wt. Howells made very few 6'3" rods and this one is in incredible shape, a worthy addition to any collection. Sold in the original bag and tube.
