Granger / Wright & McGill - Premier 9053, 9' 3/2 8wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a rare Wright & McGill 'Granger Premier' 9053, 9' 3/2 8wt bamboo rod. Excellent+ condition, the rod looks like it made have been lawn cast/carefully used although the original plastic wrap is taped in place on the cork handle. Ammoniated cane with golden yellow wraps and bright guides. The finish is in excellent shape and the ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are straight & full length. A heavy duty 9-footer, best with an 8wt although some may enjoy it with a 9. A fine example of the second highest grade Granger rod (behind the vaunted 'Registered' grade). Sold in the original bag and tube with partial label.
