For sale here is a Dana Gray 7'6" 2/2 4wt "Carlson Four" bamboo quad in excellent used condition. Lightly flamed cane with dark guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are oxblood with black accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#118). U-shaped hook keeper, squared Bakelite winding check, 6" cork grip and up-locking reel seat over walnut spacer. The cork is smooth with light soiling, and the screw collar bears the maker's stamp. Weight is 4.23oz. Medium fast action, rated for a 4wt but it casts a DT5 nicely as well. Dana represents the continuation of C.W. "Sam" Carlson's rod making tradition, and his rods remain in high demand. His waiting list is long, but this one is ready to ship today! Sold in the original brass capped tube and a brand-new bag, recently acquired directly from the maker.
