For sale here is a Max Yerxa companion rod in excellent+ condition. 2 butts and 2 tips, one butt section makes a 7'6" 4wt and the other makes an 8'6" 5wt (both tips are identical). Bright guides and gold wraps, red agate stripping guides and bright ferrules. Ferrules fit perfectly and all sections are straight & full length. Cork grips are smooth and bright, and the rods are fitted with up-locking aluminum reel seats over dark wood spacers. The 7'6" weighs 3.92oz and the 8'6" is 4.44oz. Both configurations are true to weight, and they both have progressive tapers on the medium side of medium fast. Two nice trout rods in one package! Sold in the original 3-compartment bag and aluminum tube.
