Wright & McGill - Granger Victory 8642, 8'6" 3/2 5-6wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Wright & McGill Granger Victory 8642, 8'6" 3/2 5-6wt bamboo rod. Excellent+ condition, the rod was completely restored by Michael Sinclair and appears to have seen almost no use since the restoration. Ammoniated bamboo with dark snake guides and perfection stripper. Wraps are bronze/black variagted with black tipping. Ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight & full length. The original "Granger Victory" rubber stamping is intact with a protective strip of the original varnish. 6.5" grip is clean & smooth, and the rod is fitted with the Granger patented up-locking reel seat. Weight is 5oz. Medium / medium fast action, this rod feels like it will cast either a DT6 or a modern WF5 (1/4-1/3 line heavy). Sold in the original bag and tube with 90% label.
