For sale here is a W&M Granger Special 9053, 9' 3 piece / 2 tip bamboo fly rod. This is an early Wright & McGill era Granger with the same wrap pattern and yellow silks as the Premier grade. All sections are full length, and both tips have a slight right hand sweep. The butt-mid ferrule has been reset and re-wrapped, and the windings are a shade lighter than the rest of the rod. A true 6/7wt rod, though I like a DT7 best. A great bass or heavy trout rod. Sold in aluminum tube (no label) and original cloth bag.
