For sale here is a Scott model 221 V3, 7'4" 2/2 3wt bamboo rod made by Mario Wojnicki. Excellent used condition, original except that one tip is completely rewrapped. This is a 5-strip rod featuring medium tempered cane with oxidized guides and carbide stripper wrapped in transparent tan windings with red accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#1211). Blued ferrules fit perfectly. Bent loop hook keeper over 6" wells-style grip (smooth & lightly soiled), and slide band reel seat over fine wood spacer. Weight is 2.79oz. Semi-parabolic action on the medium side of medium fast. I like it best with a WF3. The re-wrapped tip looks correct and original, but the windings are just slightly different than the other tip and the butt. Mario's association with Scott began in the early 1990's and he made a limited number of rods each year for them, in addition to rods sold under his own name. They aren't very common, and they tend to be cherished fishing instruments. This one is in fine shape and packs into a replacement bag and original Scott tube.
