For sale here is a Scott model 221 V3, 7'4" 2/2 3wt bamboo rod made by Mario Wojnicki. Excellent used condition, this is a 5-strip rod featuring lightly tempered cane with oxidized guides and carbide stripper wrapped in transparent tan windings. All sections are full length & serialized (#1192), and both tips have light sets. Blued ferrules fit perfectly. Bent loop hook keeper over 5.75" tapered grip (clean & smooth), and cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer. Weight is 2.93oz. Semi-parabolic, medium fast action (maybe a tad closer to 'Medium'). I like it best with a WF3. Mario's association with Scott began in the early 1990's and he made a limited number of rods each year for them, in addition to rods sold under his name only. They aren't very common, and they tend to be cherished fishing instruments. This one remains in excellent shape. Sold in the original bag and leather clad Holland Sport tube with woven Scott patch.
