For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki model 269V8, 8'10" 2/2 8wt penta bamboo rod in excellent used condition. A nice steelhead/salmon rod featuring flamed bamboo, bright guides and burnt orange windings with red/black accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized (#324-20). 6.8" grip is smooth with moderate soiling, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking reel seat over fine wood spacer. Fixed 1" fighting butt has layers of Micarta top & bottom. Weight is 5.22oz. Medium fast, semi-parabolic action. This rod will sling some line; I like it best with an 8wt triangle taper. A smooth and powerful caster designed for big fish. Sold in the original bag and tube.
