For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki 8'1" 2/2 bamboo rod. Built with 2 distinctly different tips, one for a 3wt and one for a 2wt, this is a new rod from the maker. Darkly flamed cane with dark snake guides and deep red windings with dark accents. Glass ferrules are perfect, and all sections are serialized (#92324). The female ferrule is fitted with a Delrin plug. All cork grip & reel seat with Micarta checks and wooden butt cap. Dual slide band reel seat with bamboo inlay to protect the cork. Weight is 2.71oz with the paper on the grip. A slightly faster, dry fly action with the 2wt tip. The 3wt tip has a decidedly more parabolic character, perfect for swinging soft hackles. A brand new rod from the master, packaged in Mario's signature fold over bag and aluminum tube with outer tube protector.
