Western cork grip is bright and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a down-locking nickel silver reel seat over lacewood spacer. Made for Trout Unlimited, the serial is TU52992. The Winston IM6's are still their most cherished series, in a world of lightning-fast graphite the IM6 rods have more life than just about anything on the market these days.
