For sale here is an 8'6" 2/2 6wt Winston bamboo rod in very good used condition. #9929, one of the last SF-era rods before the company moved to Twin Bridges MT. Medium tempered cane with bright guides, putty-colored wraps with oxblood accents. Duronz ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are full length and serialized, and one tip has a slight casting sweep. All script remains bold and clear. 6" grip is soiled but smooth. Black Bakelite winding check with matching reel seat and bright aluminum hardware. Scripted weight is 4 1/4oz but my scale reads a hair over at 4 3/8oz. This is a hollow fluted rod with medium fast action, best with a DT6. Sold in a 2-compartment Winston bag and the original tube with 95% label.
