Winston, R.L. - 6' 2/2 Bamboo Plugcast Rod (3/8oz)

For sale here is a Winston 6' 2/2 bamboo plug cast rod in very good condition. Serial #940.  Made for 3/8oz plugs, scripted weight is 2oz, but the rod weighs 3.4oz on my scale. Originally a 1-tip rod, the second tip was made by Winston and the original ferrules were re-set at that time. The rest of the wraps and varnish appear original and in good shape. Low bridge guides throughout with gold windings and oxblood accents. Ferrules fit perfectly and all sections are straight. The original owner's name is scripted on the butt. Cork is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a down-locking reel seat over black Bakelite spacer. Sold in the original bag and tube with beige Winston (Montana-era) decal.
