Winston - IM6 9' 3-pc 5wt Graphite Rod

For sale here is a Winston 9' 3pc 5wt IM6 graphite rod in excellent used condition. Serial #44590, made in the mid-1990's. Built on a sanded deep green blank with bright guides wrapped in hunter green windings. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with gaps to allow for wear, and each section is serialized. U-shaped hook keeper, knurled winding check and 6.25" western cork grip (smooth with light soiling). Aluminum down-locking reel seat over teak spacer. Smooth, medium fast graphite action. The IM6 Winston rods are still highly sought after and the 3pc 9' 5wt is an outstanding all-around trout taper. A few light scratches to the blank and some dust under the guides from use, but overall excellent. Sold in the original fold over bag and powder coated rod tube with R.L. Winston decal affixed.
