For sale here is a Winston IM6 7'6" 3-pc 3wt graphite rod in excellent+ condition. Serial #73707. Built on a sanded, deep green blank with bright guides wrapped in dark green windings. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with gaps to allow for wear. 6.5" western grip is clean and smooth. U-shaped hook keeper, nickel silver winding check and downlocking nickel silver reel seat over maple spacer. The RL Winston logo is etched into the butt cap, and the reel seat spacer has only the fainted mounting marks. Scripted weight is 2 1/8oz but it's closer to 2.6oz on my scale. A fine 3wt with medium fast action. Winston's IM6 rods are regarded as some of the finest graphite ever produced. In a world where fast and ultra fast action graphite has become the norm, these IM6 rods are a wonderful reminder of what graphite has to offer. Sold in the original bag and green enameled tube.
