For sale here is a 6'6" 4wt "Midge" from the bench of Munsey Wheby. A single tip rod based on an early PHY Midge taper, this is a new rod from the maker. Medium flamed cane with Snake brand guides and transparent brown windings, double wrapped at the ferrules. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are dead straight. Bent loop hook keeper and skeleton cork grip with black cap & ring hardware. Weight is 2.40oz. Medium fast action, a delightful small stream rod. Rated for a 4wt but some may prefer it with a WF3. A very nice offering from the North Carolina rod maker. Sold in the original bag & tube.
