For sale here is a Tom Morgan Rodsmiths 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Hollow-fluted construction, it features blonde tempered cane, bright snake guides & red agate stripper wrapped in garnet Gudebrod thread with gold accents. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (149/200). Bright ferrules fit perfectly. Weight is 4oz, and the butt is scripted with the serial number, configuration, and an inscription for the original owner. Hexagonal winding check, Western style grip and cap & ring reel seat over light wood spacer. The cork is smooth with light soiling and the ubiquitous dark lines, imparted by the suede interior of the rod bag. A smooth, progressive action 5wt, comfortable with a DT or WF line. The rod is packaged in the original bag and hexagonal burgundy heirloom tube with heavy quilted tube protector.
