For sale here is an A.J. Thramer classic series 8' 2/2 4wt bamboo rod, based on the Payne 102L taper. Excellent used condition, I doubt the rod saw much action. Featuring medium flamed cane with dark snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Chestnut brown thread wraps with gold and purple accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#D17). 11/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and the bluing remains even and dark. Strap & ring hook keeper, nickel silver winding check and skeleton cork grip with blued reel seat hardware. All the cork remains clean and smooth. Weight is 3.60oz. Medium action, perfect with a DT4. Sold in the original bag and aluminum tube with data decal affixed.
