For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 'Sextant' 8'3" 2/2 9wt bamboo saltwater rod in mint condition. Serial #5811. Featuring tiger striped flamed bamboo, hunter green windings and nickel silver step-down ferrules. Everything about this rod was purpose built for the salt. All sections are full length and dead straight, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Oversized snake guides and ceramic stripping guides. A swelled butt leads into the 7" full wells grip (bright & smooth), and the rod is fitted with a milled aluminum, salt-safe reel seat with fixed cork fighting butt. Weight is 7.34oz.
