Thomas & Thomas - Sextant 8'2" 2/2 6wt Bamboo Rod
$3,200.00
For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 'Sextant' 8'2" 2/2 6wt bamboo rod in mint condition. Serial #5883. Featuring tiger striped flamed bamboo, olive green windings, oversized snake guides and ceramic stripping guides. Saltwater ready, although it would be a fine choice for plenty of freshwater opportunities. All sections are full length, serialized and straight as a pin. Bright ferrules fit perfectly and the female is fitted with a NS & cork plug. A swelled butt leads into the 7" full wells grip (bright & smooth), and the rod is fitted with a milled aluminum, salt-safe reel seat with fixed cork fighting butt. Weight is 6.48oz. Action feels medium fast. This would be a killer rod for lighter saltwater fishing (bonefish, schoolie stripers, corbina, pompano, etc.). As new, sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
