For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 'Sans Pareil' 8' 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium toned cane with dark snake guides and carbide stripper, wrapped in transparent tan windings with black & brown accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#2804). 6" grip is smooth and soiled and has a few small indentations from resting up against other guides in the bag. Up-locking reel seat over walnut spacer, and the band reads "Thomas & Thomas - Makers". Weight is 5.33oz. Medium action, the rod loads deeply into the butt and casts a DT5 nicely. The original owner's name is inked above the winding check. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
