Thomas & Thomas - Paradigm 8' 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 8' 3/2 Paradigm bamboo rod in very good used condition. The rod itself has sen little use, but the varnish has softened slightly. It's not at full meltdown, but light touch with a fingernail will leave a mark. I don't think there's any danger in fishing the rod as is, but it's worth keeping an eye on it. Caramel colored cane with dark snake guides and high bridge stripping guide. Wraps are transparent with brown tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#3830). A strongly swelled butt leads into the 6" cork grip (clean with a hint of ridging), and up-locking nickel silver reel seat over walnut spacer. The reel seat collar is stamped "Thomas & Thomas - Makers". Weight is 5.81oz. A progressive taper on the medium side of medium fast, best with a DT5. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube with data label affixed.
