For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas Pinky Gillum commemorative 7'2" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod. As new condition, serial #15, made in 1993. Mint condition, this rod was made as an homage to H.S. "Pinky" Gillum, featuring medium tempered cane, prominent Resorcinol glue lines, oxidized guides and transparent brown windings. Blued Super-Z ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. 5" cork grip is bright and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a bright aluminum cap & ring reel seat over a beautiful African mahogany spacer. The butt cap is stamped "H.S. Gillum Commemorative". Weight is 2.95oz. Medium fast, progressive action, made for a DT5 line. A gorgeous and very fishable Thomas & Thomas commemorative rod with all the hallmarks of Pinky Gillum. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube with intact data label and custom tube protector.
