For sale here is an extraordinary 7'6" 4-piece / 2-tip 3wt bamboo rod made by Thomas & Thomas. Impregnated cane with 3x3 nodes, oxidized guides & carboloy stripper. Transparent tan windings with dark accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the T&T stamped ferrules fit perfectly. Strap & ring hook keeper, 5.5" cork grip (clean & smooth), nickel silver checks and cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. The bluing on the ferrules and reel seat hardware has been touched up. Each section is graced by Tom Maxwell's distinctive script. Medium action, it casts a DT3 beautifully. Just casting it on the lawn brings visions of high mountain creeks with clear water and colorful trout. You're unlikely to find another. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
