For sale here is a fantastic Thomas & Thomas 20th anniversary, limited edition bamboo rod in mint condition. Released in 1989 and limited to 25 examples, the 20th anniversary rod is an 8' 3-piece / 2-tip 5wt. Mottled flamed cane with dark snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Transparent tan windings with black and taupe accents. Sections are straight & full length, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Strongly swelled butt, strap & ring hook keeper and rattan grip. Cap & ring slide band is ornately engraved, and the tiger maple spacer looks like it has never seen a reel. This is number 8 of 25, and the sequence number is engraved on the bottom of the butt cap. A historic rod, commemorating 20 years of exceptional rodmaking at T&T. The rod is packed in its original bag with stiffener and hexagonal wooden tube with engraved brass data plate.
