Nickel silver reel seat hardware remains quite dark, and the pocketed butt cap has the F.E. Thomas stamp in cartouche. The bottom of the butt cap has a "30" in bullseye. Stated and actual weight is 3 7/8 oz. A very pleasant 3/4wt with delicate dry fly tips, the action is medium fast. a gorgeous example of the rare FET Mahogany, and it's a phenomenal caster. Sold in the original bag with hang tag and VL&A aluminum tube. From the collection of Per G. Brandin.
