For sale here is a Sweetgrass 'Mantra' 7'9" 3-piece / single tip Penta for a 4/5wt line. Hollow built, 5-strip construction, featuring lightly tempered cane with bright guides wrapped in pale brown windings & black accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (20-045). Step-down ferrules are overwrapped and the ferrules fit perfectly. U-shaped hook keeper with marbled resin winding check, 6" cork grip and black down-locking reel seat over light burl spacer. The cork is smooth with just a hint of soiling. Smooth, progressive action, a true 4/5wt. Built on the same tapers that Sweetgrass is known for, the Mantra series remains one of the finest values in bamboo fly rods. Sold in the original bag and black powder coated tube with maker's decal affixed.
