For sale here is a Sweetgrass 7'9" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in mint condition. Serial #1199. Medium tempered cane, oxidized snake guides and orange agate stripping guide. Transparent apricot windings with red & purple accents. All sections are straight & serialized, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Bamboo winding check, 6" western grip and down-locking nickel silver reel seat over fine wood spacer. The cork is pristine under the original plastic wrap. Scripted weight is 3 1/2oz, my scale reads 4.29oz (I'm sure the reel seat makes up the extra weight). Action on the medium side of medium fast, this rod should sing with a DT4. A truly mint Sweetgrass rod, sold in the original bag and tube.
