For sale here is a Brad Stevens 7'6" 2-pc 5wt fiberglass rod in excellent+/near mint condition. Serial # 85051. Built on a sanded root beer colored blank with bright guides wrapped in tan windings. Sizematic ferrules fit snugly. Strap & ring hook keeper, 5.5" tapered grip and cap & ring reel seat over cherry wood spacer that extends through the butt cap. The cork is clean and smooth, and I can find no evidence that the rod was ever fished. Weight is 2.54oz. Medium/medium fast action. Marked as a 5wt but it loads a WF4 quite well. Brad Stevens made and restored rods in CT up until the mid 1990's. His work is exemplary, and you don't see his rods come to market very often. This one is packed in the original bag with stiffener and aluminum tube with makers decal affixed. From the collection of Per G. Brandin.
