For sale here is a Steffen Bros 8'3" 3-piece 4/5wt fiberglass rod made by Mark Steffen. Serial #A081212. Excellent+ condition, built on an unsanded brick red S-glass blank with dark guides wrapped in red windings. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with a gap to allow for wear. Signature wraps at 12" and 16" to keep anglers honest. U-shaped hook keeper, 6.5" western grip and down-locking gunmetal reel seat over dark wood spacer. Weight is 2.86oz. Smooth, medium fast fiberglass action. In my hands it's best with a 5wt line to really feel the rod working. Excellent condition throughout, aside from some very light mounting marks to the reel seat spacer the rod looks unused. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's decal.
