For sale here is a St. Leonard 6' wt 2-piece, 2 tip bamboo fly rod in excellent+ used condition. Lightly tempered cane with agate stripping guide & tip tops, snake guides throughout with dark chestnut windings. Custom made for Anglers Corner in 1972. Spiral script below the agate stripping guide reads "St. Leonard Reg'd. G/B". Cap and ring reel seat with an all cork grip and 1" winding check that tapers nicely to the cane. Blacked brass ferrules fit perfectly and the female is fitted with a ferrule plug. This is a wonderful 4wt rod for working in close, it casts a DT or WF4 quite well in the 20-40' range. Sold with aluminum tube and cloth rod bag (only 2 compartments).
