For sale here is a Scott 8'9" 2-piece 9wt fiberglass rod in excellent condition. Model F89, serial no. 5880. Built on a brown glass blank with crimson windings and white tipping at the tip top, ferrules, and hook keeper. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with ~1/4" gap to allow for wear. Black witness marks for ease of alignment. 8" full wells cork grip with varnished cork winding check. Bronze anodized reel seat and integrated fighting butt. Action is medium fast and the rod is very comfortable casting a heavy WF9 with a sink tip. A wonderful SF-era Scott fiberglass rod, ready to fish or collect. Sold with original sock and tube.
