For sale here is a Scott model F806, 2-piece 8' 6wt fiberglass fly rod in near mint condition. This is a mid 1980's rod, made in San Francisco, featuring copper colored thread wraps with white accents, bright hardware and ceramic stripping guides on the butt section. Black witness marks for ease of alignment and the spigot ferrules fit perfectly with 1/4" gap to allow for wear. 7" western style cork grip with varnished cork winding check and fixed fighting butt. Black anodized up-locking reel seat with cork spacer. This is one of the nicest SF-era Scott glass rods I have seen, and it throws a DT6 with a wonderful medium-fast action. The rod has clearly seen very little use and is ready to fish or collect. Sold with original cloth bag and gray "Scott PowR-Ply" labeled tube.
