Schroeder, D.G. - 8'6" 3/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Don Schroeder 8'6" 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium flamed cane, dark guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent brown with dark accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#47908). The mid has a small varnish nick that has been touched up, between the first and second snake guides. All script is bold and clear, and the original owner's initials are inked on the butt section. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6.5" cork grip (smooth with light soiling) and cap & ring reel seat over walnut spacer. The reel seat hardware retains most of its bluing and the maker's stamp is crisp on the butt cap. Weight is 4.97oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, it loads nicely with a WF5 and is has the power to throw long casts accurately. Sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube with maker's label intact.
