For sale here is a Don Schroeder 7'9" 2/2 5wt quad bamboo rod in near mint condition. I'm guessing this rod has been lawn cast only, there are light mounting marks on the reel seat, otherwise the rod is mint. Golden wheat straw colored cane with dark guides, red agate stripper and transparent tan windings with brown accents. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#45307). 6" grip is bright & smooth, and the rod is fitted with Don's uplocking aluminum reel seat over blonde wood spacer. The rod is signed, and Schroeder's stamp is on the screw collar. Weight is 4.20oz. Medium fast action with fine tips, a wonderful dry fly rod in a versatile length. Sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube.
