For sale here is a Don Schroeder 7' 2-piece / 2-tip 4wt quad bamboo rod in excellent+ condition. Serial #31802. Medium flamed cane with oxidized guide wrapped in transparent brown silk with chestnut tipping. Sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Ferrules fit perfectly and the female is fitted with a knurled brass and cork ferrule plug. Squared composite winding check leads into a 6" cork grip (slightly squared at the top), and blued cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. The butt cap bears the Schroeder stamp. A fantastic medium fast 4wt, a delight to cast. Don Schroeder is a master of the craft with over 40 years of experience, and his quads are particularly popular. Sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube and custom tube protector.
