Sage - SPL CA 484, 8'4" 4wt 3pc Graphite Rod & Reel

For sale here is a Sage 'Center Axis' SPL 8'4" 3-pc 4wt graphite rod & reel combo. Very good used condition, rod and reel appear to have been used very little although there is one scratch on the butt section above the stripping guide that goes through the clearcoat and paint. Built on a sanded blank with matching wraps and gold accents. Cork grip shows just a hint of soiling. The reel is threaded directly into the rod, so one cannot be used without the other. An interesting design, meant to provide a streamlined casting experience. The reel is a Sage 3200, set up for RHW and I see no way to change this. This is a scarce SPL configuration, and these "Center Axis" rods don't come up for sale very often. Sold in the original Cordura clad partition tube.
